Happy shop flyers are soooo funny. You must read this.

The flyers that you get at the train stations & on notice boards are so funny.
I have seen so many & my friend said that he used to collect them ore something like that, I can't remember why.
Anyway, this one I spotted a while back and found it on my PC and I thought of sharing it with you.

The one I think is the funniest is "No marriage & want one, but all lovers are running away"
Have you seen some of these fliers around? send me some.

Nicki Minaj Shows Off Her Barbie House In “I Am Your Leader” Video

Ah, lucky day, Barbz, as Nicki Minaj is sending us into this week with not just one, but two eye-popping videos! This Colin Tilley directed clip for “I Am Your Leader” finds Nicki showing off her home sweet hyper-cartoonish home, fit only for a colorful rapper like she.
“I Am Your Leader” is cut from the hard-going opening salvo of Roman Reloaded wherein Nicki unhinges and raps, something she didn’t really get a chance to do on the album’s poppier first few singles. In the video, she raps in a room that’s slime green and pink and a little bit twisted — like Pee Wee’s Playhouse or a Dave La Chapelle set — peeks through crooked windows, and then raps some more from a bubble bath, her legs hung over the edge to show off her sparkly knee-high boots. Next up, Rick Ross serves his verse from the dinning room, siting like Rick Ross does, shirtless at the head of a never-ending gold gilded table. And last comes Cam, in a stairwell hung with portraits of the three, wearing a button-up that might be considered subdued for the pink mink rocking rapper were it not throbbing colors. The home is wacky, sure, but it’s Nicki, and like she says: “If you’re not a believer, suck a big d***.”

You can find both vids on youtube.
Here's "I am your leader"

Super sexy girl of this week is Dominique Piek.

Sexiest girl of this week is Dominique Piek.
Just a model living out of a suitcase... "I come from South Africa but live in NYC while my work takes me everywhere else."

She will be on the cover of SA GQ September cover of GQ 2012.

This local girl is proving to be rather popular overseas and this week i’m choosing her because she is a Cape Town girl who’s killing it overseas.

She’s from Somerset West and has featured in the local as well as the US version of Sports Illustrated Swimwear. Her list of covers include GQ, Cosmolitan and Sports Illustrated and she has done several main stream fashion campaigns. She’s also in Andy Grammer’s ‘Fine by Me’ music video.
She is signed up with Outlaw Model Agency.
You can look at some more photos on their web site.

The pink stuff above the braai.

I know it's not the strangest thing in the world but the pink stuff above the braai in the place we stayed in at Bonnyvale looks like home-made lumo pink blitz. Sure looks like candy floss, but I would not recomend you try eating it.
And it works much better than the stuff they sell at PnP.
So next time you are in Bonnievale, use the pink stuff above the braai.

The Expendables 2, what to expect.

Check out "The Expendables 2.", I think it will be one of those skop, skiet en donder movies. Just like the first one, but with Chuck Norris added to the crew, it will be definitely be jab-jab ,roundhouse kick.
'Expendables 2' Cast Decides: Who Took The Hardest Hit? For as much action and as many stars as "The Expendables 2" has, the cast was bound to get a little roughed up. But who took the worst beating? To find out, MTV News asked the stars themselves at the red-carpet premiere for the action all-star meet-up. And there was a definite consensus: The fearless leader of the Expendables, Sylvester Stallone. Chuck Norris, one of the new additions to the cast, hadn't seen the movie yet, but he had a feeling that Sly Stallone didn't fare so well. "I would have to guess that it would be Sly, since he's the main star," Norris said. "He would take the most beating." Terry Crews couldn't help but agree. If the first "Expendables" was any indication, Stallone might be still healing by the time a third film rolls around. "I would have to say Sly. He's still nursing things from the first movie," Crews said. "He broke his neck doing the first 'Expendables,' so to come back and do a movie like this again is genius. This man is the toughest man I have ever seen." "Probably Sly again, by the end of this one," Randy Couture agreed, bringing the Stallone vote to three. "He tore his shoulder up a little bit. He puts it on the line each and every time." Jason Statham added that the kind of injuries they all experienced on set just came with the territory of starring in a Stallone action movie. "It's a hard battle to win that because it's par for the course when you're doing a movie for Sly," he said. "You get dirty, and you get injured, and you get banged around. I think we share the pain."

Is it a cremitorium, pizza hut, beauty parlour or coffee shop?

In Bonnievale life is very lekka and simple. You can like to be having your nails and hair done while you wait for your pizza to come out the oven. It may be the same oven they are using to cremate your husban. They might say it is not true. You will never know.
Also you can like to be ordering a scone and cuppachino at the same time.
Let me explain it.
It's simple.
Have another look at the photo.
Now this is a lekker little pizza take away huisie in the Bonnie, but if you have a look at the entrance at the left, you see that it is also a funeral home/cremitorium. Mmm how much for a pizza? On the right of the pizza place (same little house) you can see it also have a beauty parlour. (i can like to assume it's the same aunty that do the make up for the dead people. And lastly, towards the right you have a coffee shop. I think they can do the catering when you die. (sory my cell do not have a fisheye lens so I could not get it in frame).
I really wanted to get us some pizza, but the idea of a dead person in my pizza's oven was just a bit too much for me.
This multiple shop/mall/house is not so new to me. See I grew up (yes I did) on the platteland where I remember that the library/morgue/GP & kindergarden was in the same building.
Needless to say that the one day I had to walk past the morgue to take a dump and saw my first dead...arm, and I $hat in my pants. (I think I was 5).
Thanks Bonnievale for putting that memory back in my head.

That wine will probably make you go blind.

I went to Bonnievale this weekend, on a looooong weekend. So over the next few days I'll blog about some of the things I encountered on my trip. By the end of my last Bonnievale blog you might agree that some of these Bonnievale people are on ... let's just say " the good stuff".
One of the things I saw in the local bottle store were Golden Valley wine. At R13 a litre it must be the cheapest wine out there and the locals buy these in 1 litre or 2 litre plastic bottles. I'm not sure, but I think you might be able to buy yourself a 5litre party jug for R50.
I guess the workers drink it until the become blind on a Friday night and try to recover the next day. Buy some more if the are able to see the next day, drink till you drop and try to recover on the Sunday. Then it's back to farming again untill the following Friday.

"Op die eerste een"

The first picture is what normal people see in the shop.

And this is what the guys drinking to much Golden Valley see in the shop.

1Time plane on fire! Engine apparently exploded in mid air.

How do we not know about these things until someone blogs about it?

Read some more, well the little the "media" tel us anyway.
Johannesburg -
The airline 1Time apologised on Monday to passengers affected by the return of its aircraft to the Durban airport.
“(We) sincerely regret any inconvenience that was caused for passengers aboard the flight, as well as those that were delayed at the airport...,” said director of flight operations Captain Wayne Jefferies.
Jefferies said the captain on board followed precautionary measures when he decided to turn back the flight to King Shaka International Airport on Sunday.
The SA Civil Aviation Authority said the aircraft that made an emergency landing at Durban's airport had an engine failure.
The plane, which had been going to Cape Town, was forced to turn back minutes after take off. The runway at the airport was closed from 5pm for the emergency landing.
Jefferies said a noteworthy noise was heard followed by a sudden jolt. The check done on the plane indicated damage to the engine.
The cabin crew and passengers were notified that the aircraft would be returning to Durban, he said.
“We wish to reiterate that safety is our airline's first and foremost priority... and therefore every precaution was taken to return the aircraft safely.” - Sapa

Last year in October a similar thing happened to 1Time when a engine exploded before takeoff.

Regarding that incident...
Its amazing to me how people consume news in today’s world. A prime example would be of that mornings incident at OR Tambo International Airport where a 1Time Airline plane’s engine apparently exploded just before take off. Idols presenter Proverb was on board the plane and posted this picture on Twitter. The tweet he posted with it read as follows “Absolute Drama & Panic! The engine of the plane I was on (fire), apparently Exploded!!! We just evacuated!”
I read about it on Twitter, found the post and saw the picture. Who needs conventional main stream news?

Where must we pee?

Blouberg beach has it's ups and downs, but recently I have noticed that the municipality is not doing what they should. It's simple things like...employ people to sweep the streets. That's where most of cape town taxpayers money go..towards fixing flooded roads and burst pipes. If the sewers are not blocked by all the $hit that goes down there it will probably last longer Mr. Zuma. I remember street sweepers when I was in school, all I see now is road workers with flags and one guy with a pick, while 3 other are resting under a tree.
O, yes. Back to my point.
If you Mr.Zuma can get the 3 useless guys to get their shuvels and dig out the toilets at blouberg beach (that is curently under a mountain of sand) it would be greatly appreciated. In the meantime I think people must do their business on the dunes next to it. Sorry Helen Z, I know you are trying to save the dunes, but maybe you guys must get your priorities straight.

Stupid bodybuilder thinks he can rap.

Sometimes people ask me how can I listen to Die Antwoord or Jack Parow, because it's just stupid. My answer is simple. It is entertaining. Stupid I think not so much. There must have been alot of people & planning involved to get where they are. And as far as tallent, well... Talent is not everything. Balancing a ball on your head might be a tallent, but it wont make you famous or rich.
Check out the video link and you will probably share my feeling about. Dumb$hit hillbilly rappers.
I do however enjoy some rap from time to time and thanks to youtube & this thing people talkabout interweb, haha. You can find alot of well known artists doing freestyle rap there.
I guess that's about the only way you truely know if a rapper is good. If you can't freestyle, you suck at it.

Watch "BEST RAPPER ALIVE calls out everyone steps up to anyone freestyle BODYBUILDER" on YouTube

And what's up with the Guns?
Look at that small forearm. Weak man.

Sexy Olympian of the week is Tiffany Kruger – Kayak, South Africa

I'm not such a huge fan of watching Olympics & sport on TV with all the crap that's on there most of the time, but when there are some eye-candy, then yes please.

So this week I choose Tiffany Kruger – Kayak, South Africa, local girl from Durban.
As you know by now, she is representing our country in the 2012 Olympics.
She says while this is her first Olympics, it will by no means be her last, as she hope to gain all the necessary experience that I can this time and after the Games she plans on going back to the drawing board and making sure that we all see her in action again in RIO 2016, and if all goes according to plan she ought to be on the podium.
Well Tiffany, you go girl.
Row row row your boat. hehe

PEOPLE ARE AWESOME!

Sometimes in life you might think you have seen it all. You might even think that people have managed to push themselves to the maximum. Humans have certain limitations as to what is possible.
I have come across this clip that just proves that we might have reached 99%, but here is the other 1% you might not have seen.
Check it out.
People are awesome, well most of us anyway.
