Smart Car that comes with its own cinema projector?

If you've ever been driving around town and been hit with an overwhelming urge to watch a film - good news.Car firm Smart has unveiled a concept electric car with a built in film projector.
The Smart Forstars, unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, has a projector in the bonnet, allowing any wall to be turned instantly into a cinema screen.
The projector integrated in the front bonnet is operated via Bluetooth from an iPhone.
A sound system with additional loudspeakers in the ventilation openings behind the doors also projects sound outside the car.
I guess it would be like having your own drive in, but anywhere. Only downside is that the Smart car is probably not the most comfortable car to be sitting in for more than an hour watching a movie.
Also it would never work in South Africa, well Joburg anyway. You would be waving your red flag high in the sky if you want to sit in your car for over an hour. Hijack! I guess that it was a good idea at the time, maybe for just a few seconds anyway.

Sexiest girl this week is - Milla Jovovich

I've always liked Milla, since I first saw her in The Fifth Element and now with Resident Evil Retribution is at the cinema, it is worth giving her the award for sexiest girl if the week, even if she is 36 and have 1 kid.
She can kick a zombie in it's teeth and still look sexy.

Milla Jovovich began modeling when Gene Lemuel convinced Herb Ritts to shoot her for the cover of Lei magazine. Richard Avedon featured her in Revlon's "Most Unforgettable Women in the World" advertisements, and she continued her career with other campaigns for L'Oréal cosmetics, Banana Republic, Christian Dior, Donna Karan, and Versace. In 1988, she had her first professional acting role in the television film The Night Train to Kathmandu, and later that year, she appeared in her first feature film, Two Moon Junction. Following more small television appearances such as the "Fair Exchange" (1989) and a 1989 role as a French girl (she was 13 at the time) on a Married... with Children episode and film roles, she gained notoriety with the romance film Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991). In 1992, she also appeared in "Kuffs" as Christian Slater's love interest. She appeared in 1993's Dazed and Confused, before a short hiatus. Jovovich then acted alongside Bruce Willis in the science fiction film The Fifth Element (1997), and later played the title role in The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999). In 2002, she starred in the video game adaptation Resident Evil, which spawned four sequels: Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004), Resident Evil: Extinction (2007), Resident Evil: Afterlife (2010) and Resident Evil: Retribution (2012).

She is not just so sweet as she might look.

She has a wild side.
In addition to being a smoker, Jovovich has advocated the legalization of cannabis, and appeared in a spread and on the cover for High Times. In an article published in 1994, she admitted that her only vices were cigarettes and cannabis. She practices yoga and meditates often in attempts to live a healthy lifestyle; although not affiliating with any specific religion, she prays and considers herself a "spiritual person". She avoids junk foods and prefers to cook for herself. She practices Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in addition to other varieties of martial arts. Jovovich also enjoys playing the guitar, writing in a diary, and writing poems and lyrics for songs.

Resident Evil: Retribution ! It's going to be awesome.

Watch the trailer below:

Horror sequel Resident Evil: Retribution grabbed the top spot at the US and Canadian box office over the weekend with $21.1-million.

Sony president of distribution Rory Bruer credited Jovovich for the continuing success of the Resident Evil franchise.

“Every country she goes, they (audiences) fall in love with her,” he said. “The 3D and Imax elements complement the franchise in a certain way, but the big money is on Milla.”

The studio spent $65-million to produce the sequel. The four earlier films amassed global ticket sales of more than $660-million since the first movie in 2002.

Asked whether audiences should anticipate another Resident Evil installment, Bruer said: “I would count on it.”

Meanwhile, families headed to theatres to see Finding Nemo for the first time in the 3D format. The movie ranks as one of the most successful from Disney's Pixar animation studio, generating global sales of $868-million during its original run. It won the Academy Award for best animated feature.

Disney spent less than $5-million to convert the film to the 3D format. Although weekend numbers came in slightly lower than Disney's original projections, Disney's executive vice president for motion picture distribution Dave Hollis said the tally was in line with previous 3D re-release openings.

“It's great for families during the day, and then couples at night,” Hollis said, noting the fairly balanced age and gender spread of the weekend audience.

The movie is one of a handful of films Disney is bringing back to theatres in 3D after last year's success of The Lion King 3D, which grabbed $94-million.

Rounding out the top of the charts, Prohibition-era drama Lawless earned $4.2-million during its third weekend in theatres to land in fourth place. Animated movie Paranorman finished in the No. 5 slot with $3-million.

Maid fights ghost! or was it Tokolosh? very funny.

I just watched this video clip of a maid that was fighting with a ghost.
She must have thought it was a Tokolosh, because she was aiming a bit low.
I think the ghost won the fight though, because the maid never returned to this guys house. The "baas"  was puzzled to return to his house and see there was something wrong in the TV room and his maid was missing, not answering her cell and after 2 weeks never returned, so he had a look at his cctv recording of the day she went missing & this is what he saw.
Very funny.

iPhone i5 launching 12 September

New York - Apple on Tuesday invited reporters to a news conference next week in San Francisco with a message that suggests that it will reveal the iPhone 5, as expected.
The email invitation shows a big “12,” for September 12, casting a shadow in the shape of a “5.”
Various unconfirmed reports have pointed to Sept. 12 as being the day Apple shows off the new phone, which is expected to go on sale a week or two later.
The next iPhone is expected to have a taller screen and the ability to access the latest wireless data networks in the US. Analysts expect it to set sales records.
Other unconfirmed reports say Apple will reveal a smaller version of the iPad, taking on competitors like Amazon.com's Kindle Fire, which have nibbled on the edges of the iPad's dominance in the tablet category.
On Wednesday, Nokia and Motorola are holding events of their own in New York, apparently to reveal their latest products ahead of the iPhone launch.

Looks like Samsung was not invited to the launch.
I wonder why.

Funky Vegetables at Checkers Sunningdale.

Last weekend I went to the new Checkers in Sunningdale. Like always, the wife wonders off to the fruit and vegetable section so I have to tag along, only because if I have the trolley and like all of you guys know..It's your fault if she is looking for you when she want to put the stuff in the trolley. haha good-times.
Normally we buy the same veggies every week because of me that have something against the "orange veggies" (and the little one is also very fussy).
AKA pumpkin, butternut and all those things. So we have an understanding: She can buy & cook it , but I don't want to have it on the table, because it makes me "naar"
Back to my story, sorry.
So there I was going about my business when I spotted these weird looking veggies with their awesome colours and textures.
I tried to find the names, but obviously Checkers also don't know what they are called.
I think one of those poop looking ones are yams. And I suppose you could call the purple ones "purple beans"
I'm not sure what that big thing is that looks like a mutant mango.
If you know what these fruits are, drop a comment or go and try them for yourself. Let me know if they taste as good as they look.

Michael Clarke Duncan, 54, dies two months after suffering severe heart attack.

Michael Clarke Duncan, the Oscar-nominated star of The Green Mile, has died after nearly two months of treatment following a heart attack in July.
Publicist Joy Fehily released a statement from Duncan's partner, the Rev. Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, saying the 54-year-old actor died on Monday morning in a Los Angeles hospital.
As the sad news was delivered, it also referred to Omarosa for the first time as his fiancée, saying: 'The Oscar-nominated actor suffered a myocardial infarction on July 13 and never fully recovered.'

In July, Michael suffered a heart attack and remained in intensive care for several weeks after.
At the time, his representative Joy said in a statement: 'His family are firm believers in the power of prayer and have asked that you keep him in yours during this time.'
TMZ originally broke the story that Michael's 38-year-old girlfriend performed 'heroic CPR and re-started' the actor's heart at his LA home before he was rushed to the hospital.

RIP Michael Clarke Duncan.

Blouberg Beach's stranded ship oil all over beach again.

Thanks for fokkol Helen & Zuma, you have failed us again.
Apparently when your idiot ecologically retarded and bribed government said that the Seli 1 (stranded at Blouberg for 3 - 4 fking years) hold no dangers to the environment and all the residents were moaning about the oil on the beach. You were thinking of all the other unimportant k@k.
Well you tits. Now who will clean up the mess? Early this morning the Seli 1's cranes came tumbling down & with that part of the ship broke off. Naturally all the left over fuel & oil came pouring out into the ocean...again.
Now I moan allot but can you lazy fks get off your asse$ & go clean up the mess.
I went there with my family and could not even get the oil off my feet.
I had to get everyone at home to wash and scrub it to get that off.
Photos attached.

So thanks again for fokkol.

$hit is about to hit the fan as mineworkers turn to Julius Malema for help.

The $hit is hitting the fan as mine workers have had enough of the Zuma family (that is also one of the co-oweners of the mine). They are now turning to Julius Malema for help. He said he is going to get his lawyers involved.

DESPERATE Aurora mineworkers, who have not been paid for four years, have vowed to shut down all Ekurhuleni mining operations from Monday and threatened those who want to work. “We are not going to spare your life,” one of the miners’ leaders told the group yesterday. His call was greeted with cheers. The angry miners blamed President Jacob Zuma and the ANC for their misery. Later, Julius Malema, the expelled ANC Youth League president, arrived to address the group. The miners had invited Malema to witness the squalor in which they have lived since Aurora’s Grootvlei mine in Springs was closed in 2010. Many of them are homeless. Some said they live in the veld near the mine; others described falling victim to thugs. One of their leaders, Sipho Myeni, begged Malema for help “to take us out of our misery”, saying the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and the government had failed them. “We have knocked at every door for help,”said Myeni. “We went to Num, our union leaders, but nothing came out of it. We went to the ANC. They turned their backs on us. “President Jacob Zuma came to Aurora and inspected our living conditions. He took our payslips, promising to help, but he disappeared with them until today.” Myeni said that soon after Zuma’s visit, his nephew, Khulubuse Zuma, took over the management of Aurora. “It is clear that President Zuma was not here to sort out our problems but to scout for economic opportunities for Khulubuse,” said Myeni. Some of the miners admitted that they and some of their family members had turned to crime to make a living. Myeni alleged that Aurora’s Gold One – a mine that is operational – was setting workers against each other. Mine management was allegedly employing undocumented immigrants instead of local workers. According to the residents and miners alike, this had led to several fatal attacks between the jobless and the employed. Malema agreed to intervene. He told hundreds of miners that the Friends of the Youth League would provide them with lawyers to help them recover their money from the liquidators. “You do not have money to hire your own lawyers. We are going to help. We are going to put your leaders in touch with the liquidators to find out what really happened to the monies that belong to you,” Malema promised. Minutes later, Malema took at swipe at Zuma. He repeated his allegations that the president was responsible for the poor working conditions of mineworkers throughout the country. He mentioned Marikana, where 34 protesting miners died during a wage protest. “Ask yourself why these mine companies have politicians sitting on their boards. This is to allow these mines to give monies to the politicians. The mine bosses are paying protection fees,” said Malema. “Jacob Zuma has five family trusts and these mine bosses are paying money into these trusts. They are paying a protection fee to these trusts so that if you can go on strike, President Zuma can send police to Aurora to come and kill you. If you can’t trust your president, who else can you trust?” The crowd applauded when Malema said mineworkers were living under worse conditions than they had during apartheid. Commenting on the violence between the warring mineworkers, Malema appealed to “scab labourers” to refrain from spying for the mine bosses. “Magundwane [scab labourers], please do not allow mine bosses to divide you. The mine bosses will use you like a toilet paper and then flush you,” Malema insisted. He urged the jobless workers to demand a minimum wage of R12 500, like the striking workers at Lonmin’s mine at Marikana. NUM leaders were also targets of Malema’s wrath: he accused them of being bribed by mine bosses. “Num leaders have been bribed and provided with shares in the mine companies. They go and talk to these mine bosses about your demands but retreat soon after being told that it would affect their profits,” Malema said. The ANC has taken a stance not to react to Malema’s comments. saying he was not part of the ruling party. The National Council of Trade Unions supported the Marikana and Aurora mineworkers. Nactu provincial co-ordinator Malinge Plaatjie said the mineworkers’ demands for increases were justified.
