VW Micro Bus

How many of you have toys like these that have been around since you were a little tot that wee wee in a pee pee pot?
Check out this photo of a 1958 or 1959 VW Micro Bus (Camper)
My wife saw this in the shop the other day and thought it would be a great addition to my VW collection.
I remember these as "dinky toys" or "corgy" or "hot wheels" years ago, it's great to see that they are not only still around on the road, but also in the toy boxes.

VW Beetle

Above is a post 1970 beetle toy that I got when I was about 3 years old. Needless to say that when this toy came out, the beetle was still manufactured and modern. Well as modern as it could be in the 70's.
Hard to beleive that the wheels are still on and it's not broken. This toy was passed to my brother, cousins and found it's way back to my doughter a few months ago.

Ek het niks meer om te se nie, Die antwoord het die geheim agter gekom hoe om die media te speel. Net soos Madonna ,Marilyn Manson , Lady Gagga en Jurie Els voor hulle. Ok, miskien nie Jurie Els nie, maar al hierdie mense het vroeg in hulle loopbaan besef dat as jy die media speel sal almal jou vinniger leer ken en jou naam sal jou vooruit loop. Al is dit tannie Marie in Mosselbaai, sy het dalk nie een van die songs gehoor nie, maar sy het al van die mense gehoor.

Blerry stupid PC errors

Jong, vandag kry ek mos nou weer die stupidste boodskappe van my PC. Eers dink hy hy is baie cool en sarkasties met my en tune my hy kan nie save nie want daar is 'n probleem. Dhu ,no $hit. Ek kan so sien. Party keer wens ek die PC's van vandag kan slimmer wees en vir jou se wat om te maak om die probleem op te los. Nee dit kos altyd jou die IT outjie bel en dan se die "boks" Have you tried to restart. aaaaaaa.

Laat ek dink... nee. Maar ek het daaraan gedink om die monitor van die tafel af te gooi.

Anyway. lang storie kort en weier om te restart kry ek dit toe reg om die file te save.

Natuurlik nie net 2 minute later nie kry ek weer een van daardie weird boodskappe. Check die een hieronder uit. WTF. Insufficient memorry was available to complete the operation? Kyk ,al wat ek wil doen is save. My "ingel"s op skool was beter as my afrikaans, maar ek weet nie of dit ek is nie, maar is hierdie sin reg. Hoe kan  iets wat jy nie genoeg van het iets laat werk of nie werk of wat bedoel hulle nou eintlik? werk dit nou of nie?

Dis mos om te se die ou is te stupid om die som te doen, maar hy het dit reg gekry. Maak mos nie sin nie.

Ek sal maar more weer lag as ek sulke boodskappe kry, dalk se die ding vir my iets soos "file will only be saved if you do it twice" Of "moer the keyboard hard, that will do the trick"  Of "hit the ENTER key as hard as you can, It might work. Amper soos daardie mense wat die lift se knoppie drie keer in 'n ry druk, want dan kom hy vinniger na jou vloer toe.

Nelson Mandela print on Bank Notes

It’s strange that in a country like ours, filled with freedom of speech and perceived democracy government can still do what they want. When I say government I am actually meaning the ANC, because face it. They will make changes in this country the way they feel best only if it promotes their popularity or political future.

As you might find out pretty soon, all the bank notes will be changed to have the print of Nelson Mandela on it.

Now don’t get me wrong. I was not born black or Indian. I was not born in the apartheid era. Honestly, when did this era ended. Do you know? And NO it’s not 1994. It was long before that.

I am a “currently disadvantaged white”.

Go ask your oupa what apartheid was all about. Apparently it was to separate the black and whites so that the black could develop themselves.  Obviously this was a big mistake and just a K@K idea of the white oupa in government.

Now, we are supposed to learn from our mistakes and move FORWARD, so now we put blacks empowerment first. I call this BEE  “reverse apartheid strategy” basically it is to take the qualified white out of power so that blacks can develop. WTF why not learn from the past and empower the nation together.

Getting back to the Mandela print on the notes, I read somewhere that he was convicted and sentenced to death because of treason (blowing up shit), but because all the white were so scared of an uprising they decided to rather change the sentence and put him on Robbin Island? FYI

Go and google this. Nobody will tell you that he was blowing up whites with Winny in 19 voetsek.

Now imagine the AWB started to blow up the ANC buildings? Do you thing they would put their leader in prison? Let him out in 27 years and make him president? Put his face on all the bank notes.

NO!

So with all that in mind, what’s your opinion on the bank notes?

Do you think it’s a waste of the taxpayer’s money? Did the big 5 offend someone and needed to change?

Or is this a clever way of the ANC to subconsciously embed their image in the mind of every south African every time they look at money?

Makes you wonder who gave the ok for this.

I wonder what’s printed on Zimbabwe’s banknotes?

Eergister was ek so bietjie uit met my cuzzys vir so paar drinks en ja, hierdie keer het ons, ons gedra. Ons het niks aan die brand gesteek , gesteel of gebreek nie, nie weer nie. Dit was nogals 'n lekker ou plekkie waar ons was, Braza Portugese Restaurant in Canal Walk. Ons het so lekker starter ding gehad daar op die tafel met slakke ,hoender lewertjies en ander porra goed wat lekker is. Ek het toe natuurlik van die lekker slakke geeet en kort nadat ek by die huis kom het ek gelyk asof iemand alby my oge toe gemoker het. Keel en neus toegeswel. Moer... of moet ek eerder se ....toe moer die slak my. Lyk my ek is nou allergies vir Groen Doritos en Slakke. Weet jy, die lewe is darm snaaks. Een oomblik dink jy jy is baie sterk en die ander oomblik remind 'n ou slakkie hoe fragile die ou lewe eintlik kan wees. O, ja ek moet seker se dat ek ok is, duh. Anders sou ek nie nou geblog het nie. Moral of the story is. Eet wat jy wil, doen wat jy wil want more is jy dalk nogsteeds net wie jy is, net so bietjie meer opgekrok, maar at least het jy iets nuuts probeer.

Die Antwoord - I fink you freeky video

Hierdie is seker een van die weardste afrikaanse groepe wat ek al gesien het.  Ek het gister na die nuwe album geluister en vir die wat hou van "Die Antwoord" is dit 'n moed, persoonlik het ek meer gehou van hulle ouer musiek, maar kom ons laat julle besluit vir julle self.
"Die Antwoord" kry 'n 10 uit 10 vir creativity en 'n regte ZEF gevoel kom oor jou as jy hierna luister.
