The Jackass Crew did it again - watch their new Trailer - Bad Grandpa

I am not ashamed to say that I love the Jackass movies. Yes, they are dumb. But some part of me cannot help but laugh at idiots falling down and hurting themselves. Their latest film, Bad Grandpa, is not like the three Jackass movies that came before it. This movie actually has a plot. A Borat-type endeavor in which Knoxville’s character is dropped into to the real world to engender real reactions. 

This October, the signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicholl) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera.

No matter how many times we are told that it is simply a film, a piece of entertainment, classic chiller's like Jaws can stop us getting into the water or in the case of Stephen King's 'It' make children's clown's petrifying.
However, the terror is only committed onto film and when the camera's stop rolling as these behind-the-scenes pictures show, the film stars and their crew relax and joke in unexpected and hilarious ways.

Smart Car that comes with its own cinema projector?

If you've ever been driving around town and been hit with an overwhelming urge to watch a film - good news.Car firm Smart has unveiled a concept electric car with a built in film projector.

The Smart Forstars, unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, has a projector in the bonnet, allowing any wall to be turned instantly into a cinema screen.

The projector integrated in the front bonnet is operated via Bluetooth from an iPhone.
A sound system with additional loudspeakers in the ventilation openings behind the doors also projects sound outside the car.

I guess it would be like having your own drive in, but anywhere. Only downside is that the Smart car is probably not the most comfortable car to be sitting in for more than an hour watching a movie.
Also it would never work in South Africa, well Joburg anyway. You would be waving your red flag high in the sky if you want to sit in your car for over an hour. Hijack! I guess that it was a good idea at the time, maybe for just a few seconds anyway.

The Dark Knight Rises Opening Weekend Marred By Tragedy, Shooter Kills 14 People At Cinema

A midst all the excitement of The Dark Knight Rises opening weekend, a horrible tragedy has completely shocked the world and totally ruined the joy of the movie finally releasing. While the cast of the film is in Europe for the grand opening, back home is where the calamity happened. 14 people were shot dead by a masked gunman yesterday at the film’s premiere that was screened at the Century Aurora 16 Movie Theater in Denver, Colorado. 30-40 people are also reported to have been injured in the shooting. Initial reports stated that 10 people were murdered, but more have succumbed to their injuries in hospitals since then. 

Radio updates said that the gunman had a mask on, and just opened fire around the cinema, during the midnight show of the movie. The shooter also set off a smoke or tear gas bomb — details are still emerging about that. Apparently, people initially thought that the “gunshots were part of the movie” but soon realized the truth. We are just so torn up by this news and our thoughts and prayers are going out to all the people and families affected by this. 9 News, Colorado is reporting that the suspect is in police custody as of 2 AM today, and we hope justice is served quickly.
